SIN: Light or Darkness

It is amazing how we entertain ungodly desires and then wonder why our lives don’t match the façade of holiness that we push. It’s plain and simple: light and darkness cannot dwell in the same place. This goes against the grain of many of us (our preferences). Our ears are not used to hearing it, but the fact of the matter is that the wages of sin are death and the gift of God is eternal life. This death is not only physical death, but it is the spiritual death that we live in and shall be our experience when we make deliberate decisions to come against the will of God.

Choose the will of God today and be refreshed.

“But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your forefathers served beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD.” Joshua 24:15 (NIV)

“Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord,” Acts 3:19 (NIV)
