100% Pure and Refreshing

Allow yourself to be dealt with by the Word of God. Allow the Word of God to be that refreshing bath that cleanses you from the disappointments, discouragements, pain, filth, guilt and shame inflicted upon you by the world, those that are in the world, and even those things that are self-inflicted. Allow the Word to refresh you. Allow the Word to wash you clean. The Word of God is 100% pure—more pure than Ivory® could ever be. It is refreshing—more refreshing than Irish Springs® could ever be. It cleans deeper and is more thorough than any means, method or technique that we could ever develop.

Let the Word of God be a refreshing cleansing power in your life, for it is the Word of God that accomplishes the will of God. Anything else that makes an attempt at this assignment (like your own words, or words from others) may be too harsh, too acidic and too caustic to bring about a healthy wholeness (one that enables you to go on to the next issue).

Let the Word of God cleanse you—let it deal with you. Don’t be afraid of the truth that comes from the Word of God. Because it IS truth and because it IS God, He knows how to use it in a way that does not cause condemnation, rejection, or increase guilt and shame. Rather, it allows us to deal with the reality of issues just as they are and to benefit from the compassion that the love of God employs. It really is the best, the most safe, and the greenest way to be cleansed.

Let the Word of God cleanse you, for in your refreshed state, you will be more apt to let the Word guide your next steps, your next set of emotions and the way you approach the next set of circumstances and challenges. It is SO important that at the onset—that is, the very moment you hear the Word of God—that you allow the Word of God to minister to you.

The very assignment of the Word of God that is presented to you and brought to your remembrance is so you can choose do deal with yourself according to the Word and not according to an anthology of actions or reactions derived from anything else. Allow yourself to be dealt with by the Word of God.

“For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” Hebrews 4:12
